District 6 Democrats is a co-sponsor of the Phoenix City Council District 2 Candidates Forum on Tuesday, August 9th, 2011 at Paradise Valley Community College, starting at 6:30 PM. The candidates are Bryan Jeffries, Brian Jones and Jim Waring. The Phoenix City Elections will take place on August 30th.
Please join us for Anthem Days on Saturday, July 2nd, at the LD6 booth and meet local candidates. This is a fun holiday event, 6 to 10 p.m., held at the Anthem Community Park.
The District 6 Yard Sale raised $1600 for our district. We thank Kathleen Yardley for organizing and hosting all our Yard Sales this year and in the past. Our Yard Sales have been our #1 Fund-Raiser.
